My own experience has taught me that every change is also an opportunity. It’s up to every one to seize it or not.
Tina Maria Sturm (1982) studied marketing, communication and services at the University of St.Gallen (HSG). In 2006 she concluded her studies with a Master of Arts (M.A. HSG).

In 2012 she completed her doctorate with summa cum laude. Together with Prof. Schultheis and a team of researchers she then supervised two projects entitled «Between charisma and commerce – Ethnography of the Art Basel taken as an example for the economy of symbolic goods» and «The Making of Business Elites».

Prof. Franz Schultheis
Professor at the Institute of Sociology of the University of St.Gallen
As change consultants, we deal with the impact of change on individuals, on interactions in affected business departments (e.g. group dynamics) and on the organization and its culture as a whole. These are the challenges to be mastered during change processes. Sociology deals extensively with social developments and their impact on the social behavior of individuals.
In our cooperation with Prof. Franz Schultheis we focus on the reasons for change and on how individuals deal with its effects. The combination of practically applicable and empirically based expertise is of great importance to us. Many of Prof. Schultheis’ research projects deal with the transformation of the labor world and its impact on different job profiles as well as with changing requirements and challenges for the modern work environment.
Together with him we refine and improve our models which combine economic requirements and constraints with changing social conditions. Employees and organizations are both affected by these changing conditions, but to different degrees and with different consequences.
He speaks German, English and French.
